Student Support Teams at CMS

Middle school is an exciting time, and we also know it can be challenging. Each year, your family has access to a dedicated group of educators to support you. These groups of staff members also meet regularly to discuss student grades, attendance and behavior concerns in order to proactively connect with students.

Administrative Deans

Administrative Deans assist students in achieving academic success by promoting positive behavior. They also support students and families with questions regarding student conduct. 

Student Support Advisor

Your student support advisor consists of counselors and social workers who assist with personal questions, career exploration, academic development/achievements and emotional wellbeing. This team can connect you to valuable community resources, including assistance with economic difficulties. Counselors can assist with beginning the 504 evaluation process. Students can schedule an appointment with their student support team member using an electronic form or by calling 952-975-7336.

School Psychologists

Our School psychologists work closely with the student support services team to provide psychological and social/emotional support to students.
