Transportation
If your student will take the bus to or from school this year, the Transportation Department will share preliminary route information with you via email in mid-August and follow up with finalized information the week before school starts. Your route information will include pick up and drop off locations and times. If you need to make any changes to the preliminary information, please complete the Route & Stop Changes form.
School Supplies
School supply lists can be found on each school’s website. Many of our school Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) partner with companies like School Tool Box to have everything you need for the new school year shipped directly to your door. If you are interested, watch for a message from your school PTO to purchase. If buying school supplies is a challenge for your family, be sure to connect with your school’s social worker during Back to School night.
Information about your teachers
Little Eagles Preschool families and elementary school families (PreK through grade 5) will be able to see their student’s teacher assignment in the Parent Portal at 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25. Schedules at Central Middle School, Eden Prairie High School and EP Online (grades 6-12) will become available throughout the month of August; please watch for an email from your school for more information.
Thank you for your patience while we find the best classroom fit for your child!
Immunization
The State of Minnesota requires all children attending school to have received specific vaccinations or to have an exemption form on file with their school district.
To ensure your child’s immunization records are up-to-date before the school year begins, please visit the Parent Portal, click on “More,” and then check the “Health” tab to see your child’s records.
If your child’s immunizations are not up-to-date, you can submit documentation to Mary Widell, District Lead Nurse. Fax number: 952-975-7320; Email address: Mary_Widell@edenpr.k12.mn.us
Update Your Information in the Parent Portal for Food Service Payments
Although breakfast and lunch remain free for all students in Eden Prairie Schools, there has been an adjustment to payments for additional meals this coming year.
Infinite Campus, which hosts our Parent Portal, has recently switched payment processors. To ensure security and confidentiality of data, any payment information you had previously entered on the Parent Portal was not transferred to the new system. There is no impact on how payments will be processed with the new system, but you will need to re-add your payment information (credit/debit cards or bank accounts) and restart any previously-scheduled recurring payments. For assistance entering payment information or setting up recurring payments, please use the buttons below. Thank you for your understanding!
Weekend Food for Kids Weekly Pick-up
All Eden Prairie Schools families (including TASSEL) are welcome to pick up Weekend Food for Kids bags (one per child) from Every Meal, a local non-profit fighting child hunger. Food packs include non-perishable meal ingredients or ready-to-eat food items.
- WHEN: The program will run Thursday evenings from 4-6 p.m. beginning Sept. 4, 2025, and ending June 4, 2026.
- Please note: Food bags will NOT be distributed Nov. 27 (Thanksgiving Break) and Dec. 25 (Winter Break). Extra food bags will be distributed the weeks before on Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.
- WHERE: Outside Door 4 of the Historic Gym at 8100 School Road, Eden Prairie (drive-up delivery model)
- WHO: Free for all Eden Prairie Schools families, including TASSEL students
Food is available to every child regardless of income or participation in other food programs. No registration required. The drive-up delivery model provides anonymity for all participating families.
All food bag types contain 4-5 pounds of nutritious, non-perishable food, including a variety of canned fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains and soups/entrees. Families may choose from five food bag options that are tailored and identified by different colors.
Eagle Nation Station
Eagle Nation Station, the donation-based free store at Eden Prairie High School, is gearing up for the new school year and asks for your help!
This school year Eagle Nation Station needs the following:
- Full-sized personal care items: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, deodorant, hair care supplies, feminine hygiene products, etc. (no travel-sized items please)
- School supplies: folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, calculators, backpacks, pencil cases, tape
- Basic household goods: laundry soap, dry food goods, Kleenex, shelf stable snacks, cleaning supplies, etc.
- Gift cards to Target, Walmart, or Amazon in amounts ranging from $15-$25
- Gas gift cards in amounts ranging from $15-$25
These items are extremely helpful to have on-site to provide to students. If you are interested and able to donate back-to-school items, please drop them off at the Student Activities Office at EPHS.
The store will no longer be staffed by volunteers so that students can access items at any time confidentially. Students can go to any of the three Student Support Centers and ask to be let into Eagle Nation Station, where they will be able to take what they need without question and maintain their privacy. Gift cards will be safely stored by social work and counseling staff and given to students and families as needed.
Thank you so much for supporting Eagle Nation Station and the EPHS community!
